KEVIN HUFFER

Kevin, 47, was born and raised in England, and actually moved here in 2007. His wife, Sarah, is from Tumwater, and he has 4 children. One remained in England, the other three Joseph, Samantha and Carson live here.

Kevin has a passion for music of all types, and has been known to play the piano on occasion.

From and early age he wanted to be on the radio, having a “studio” in his bedroom. However, despite volunteering at UK radio stations from his early teens, he never got that break. As bills needed to be paid, Kevin trained as a nurse in England, a career he juggled with helping behind the scenes in radio and bringing up two children on his own.

He got his break eventually in 1994, and has not looked back since. Kevin has done nearly every job in radio, and spent 3 years at the BBC. Before leaving the UK, he was a Radio Station Manager, responsible for reversing the stations fortunes. He has an ability to communicate and connect with people: something listeners to KGY AM appreciate as they’ve set up a fan club on-line!

Kevin has a vision for Real Country 96.9 FM, and the Real Morning Crew is just the beginning!
